🔥🥩 Slow-Cooked Lamb Neck Perfection 🥩🔥

🍽 What You Need:
• 1 kg lamb neck (cut into pieces) – Get yours from Meat24Vleis!
• 2 tbsp olive oil
• 1 large onion, chopped
• 4 garlic cloves, minced
• 2 carrots, sliced
• 2 celery stalks, sliced
• 1 cup red wine (optional but delicious)
• 2 cups beef or lamb stock
• 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
• Salt and pepper to taste
🔥 How To Make It:
1. Heat oil in a heavy pot over medium-high heat. Brown the lamb neck pieces on all sides. Remove and set aside.
2. In the same pot, sauté onions, garlic, carrots, and celery until softened.
3. Pour in red wine to deglaze, scraping up the flavorful bits.
4. Add stock, rosemary, and lamb neck pieces. Season with salt and pepper.
5. Cover and simmer for 2.5 – 3 hours until the meat is tender and falling off the bone.
6. Serve with creamy mashed potatoes or crusty bread. Enjoy!
