Our Llanelli and Carmarthen groups have limited DRUM and GUITAR lesson space n both junior (age 7-11) and senior (age 11-18). We also teach singing and bass guitar.

All abilities catered for and instruments available to use in the sessions and students will get the opportunity to jam as bands every week in sessions as well as publicly during the year.

DO YOU KNOW A YOUNG ROCKSTAR?!

Aged 7-11 or 11-18 The Rock Project Llanelli & Carmarthenshire have some spaces available on GUITAR | BASS | DRUMS | VOCALS in our junior and senior groups:
Sessions in Llanelli, Carmarthen, Swansea (Dunvant and West Cross) and Ammanford, as well as further afield in Bridgend and Cardiff.

FREE FIRST SESSION so come along and meet the team
All abilities welcome
- One hour lesson learning a new song every two weeks
- One hour jam session putting the songs together as a band...sessions also include music games and quizzes!
- Perform on stage at our end of year gigs every year, along with other live opportunities like the Swansea fringe.

Our Llanelli junior students in action this last week in their Christmas gig. Proud of them all is an absolute understatement – for several it is their first public band performance ever while others have more experience.

Over the last 15 weeks, they have developed 18 tunes with a range of beats/chords/riffs/progressions and obviously melodies and lyrics. They then narrowed these down into their 10 favourite tunes for the gig.

There is space available on all instruments in this group.

The group currently has space on all instruments for those interested in getting involved. All abilities catered for and instruments available for people to borrow in the sessions or at home.

Just a small group this year, but the Carmarthen juniors group were absolutely superb this last Sunday and played themselves, and their parents proud. They performed eight songs that they have developed over the last 15 weeks. I’m sure the parents would agree but the only weak part of the gig was the singer (me 🤣😞) but needs must.

We have spaces on all instruments in this group when we start up back January.
