📢 Closing Down Sale Extended

Well... I genuinely didn't expect to be writing this!

The plan was for the website to close this weekend, but I still have a lot of stock remaining. Rather than rushing to clear everything, I've decided to extend the Closing Down Sale for a little longer.

This means you still have time to grab some fantastic bargains.

Many products are already reduced to less than I originally paid for them, so these really are clearance prices. Once an item sells out, it won't be coming back.

📢 Selby V**es Closing Update

This is now our final week of trading.

The website will close permanently on Saturday 1st August, so if there's anything you've been meaning to order, now is the time.

I've had a lot of messages asking:

"Do you have any more of...?"

Everything I have left is listed on the website. If you can't find it online, I'm afraid it's sold out and I won't be getting any more stock in.

"Can you do me a deal?"

Almost all of the remaining stock is already heavily reduced, with many products selling for less than I originally paid for them. Because of that, I won't be reducing prices any further.

🚚 Local delivery update

I'll be working Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday this week, so there will be no local deliveries on those days. UK postage will continue as normal, and local deliveries will resume on the remaining available days before we close.

Finally, I'd just like to say thank you once again to everyone who's supported Selby V**es over the years. It's been an incredible journey, and I'm genuinely grateful for every order and every customer.

It's taken me a long time to write this post, but the time has finally come.

After years of running Selby V**es, I've made the difficult decision to close the business.

What started as a small idea grew into something I could never have imagined, and that's entirely down to you. Every order, every recommendation, every review, every message and every conversation has helped make Selby V**es what it became.

I've had the privilege of helping thousands of people find products they enjoy and, for many, make the switch away from smoking. Knowing that I've played even a small part in that has made all the hard work worthwhile.

Running a small independent business has never been easy. There have been plenty of late nights, early mornings, challenges and sacrifices along the way, but there have also been so many moments I'll always look back on with pride. None of it would have been possible without your loyalty and support.

As a thank you, I'll be holding a Closing Down Sale before we close our doors for the final time. Everything is available while stocks last, and once it's gone, it really is gone.

From 1 October 2026, va**ng in the UK is set to become noticeably more expensive. A new levy called Va**ng Products Duty will add a flat £2.20 per 10ml to all e-liquids, including nicotine-free options, with 20% VAT applied on top. Prefilled pods will also be taxed, while refillable v**e hardware remains exempt. A quick update from Selby V**es 👋

I’m now working a full-time job alongside running Selby V**es, so I’ve made a few small changes to keep everything running smoothly.

From Monday 9th February:

🚫 No click & collect or walk-ins

🌐 All orders must be placed through the website

📦 Postage orders unaffected

🚗 Evening local delivery continues

Deliveries may head out slightly later, and a couple of evenings may be unavailable due to shift patterns — any changes will always be clearly shown on the website.
