It's Derby Day!!! Let's go!!!!. Have any tips for me? I need all the help I can get !

Went to Oaks yesterday and couldn't have asked for better weather.

Ok this just got more exciting!!!

Come out and meet World Renowned Chef, and one of my co-hosts for this year's Bourbon and Beyond Amanda Freitag.

Chef Amanda will be introducing and sampling her new Freitag Cocktails as well as participating in the creation of the Garland of Lilles, which will go to the winning horse of the 149th running of the Kentucky Oaks.

We will also be giving put some tickets to Bourbon and Beyond!!! Can't miss that!.

Oh yeah... I'll be there too... Like that matters, haha 😄

Come out to the Middletown KY Kroger Wine and Spirits Shop and meet Chef Amanda and pick up one of her amazing new cocktails and maybe win some tickets to Bourbon and Beyond while you do it !

On April 28th, 2023, celebrate with at Kroger on Arbor Day and leading up to Derby, and get your bottle decorated with a special graphic to commemorate this event! 🌲🌳 ,

For each bottle of Brother's Bond bourbon purchased during the promotion period, Brother's Bond will donate $1 per bottle sold to https://onetreeplanted.org/ to support their tree-planting initiatives. Each bottle sold will plant an oak tree.

Can we first talk about how pretty this bottle is?! Wow.

What I have here is :
Hemingway Rye First Edition.
A blend of straight rye whiskeys finished in rum seasoned oloroso sherry cask.

100proof

94% 9yr old IN
6% 4yr old KY

Nose: Vanilla custard and dark brown sugar really dominate. Makes me think of cool a summer night relaxing my the water.

Taste: Creamy, Fruity Cherries. Like they were dipped in caramel ! Get that summer night feel even more.

This bottle is so damn tasty. If you know me, then you know my favorite grain is rye, and this is definitely a good one. Great job once again to Jacob Call and his team.

It's 75° just got done grilling some incredible Kroger Ribeys and now sitting back with a nice pour of Penelope and this incredible cigar.

Barrel Strength Four Grain. Toasted Series. Proof 114
Char #4 Toast Hvy
Age 4-5 years
Batch #61

Nose: toasted vanilla, sweet carmel

Taste: charred brown sugar, get woody notes, it's bright, and really approachable at 114.

Tasty!!!

Working on a new project tonight and decided to feature these beautiful rums from Flor de Cana. OMG they are incredible!!! The 18yr maybe one of my favorite rums of all time !!!!
