Just down the road from us is the Beechwood Meetinghouse and Museum which keeps our community’s rich past alive—from its days as an 1867 church to a museum showcasing Cohasset fire, police, and farming history. Stop by 51 Church Street for a tour, and stay tuned as we continue restoring Beechwood General!

We get asked ALL the time, “What’s going in at Beechwood General?” Well, here’s the exciting scoop! We’re planning to bring back the Brown Country Store, J.J.'s at the General, a cozy coffee shop, AND a Loving Local section to feature local artists!✨

We’re hoping to open in December 2025, so stay tuned for updates—we can’t wait to share more with you! 🛠️

Stopped by to check on the progress of our beautiful stained glass window restoration!✨ we managed to snap a shot with the top piece (though it’s not quite in its final spot yet). A huge thank you to Jane from Coastal Art Glass for bringing this piece of history back to life. 🙌 This window, originally from the old St. Mary’s Church on Atlantic Hill in Hull, MA, was gifted to us by Kurt and Dina Gondveer, with help from his cousin Michael and Jenn Meallo. 💛 Grateful for the community connections that make this project so special!

We are so grateful for your continued support, and cannot wait to continue updating you on what’s to come and some of the incredible treasures we have found in our restoration process.
