Hailing from Italyโ€™s Abruzzo region, the Mitolo family migrated to Australia in the 1950s with a hardworking ethos and a strong connection to the land. Mitoloโ€™s first release, G.A.M. was named in honour of Frank Mitoloโ€™s three children โ€“ Gemma, Alexander and Marco.

"This is a classic McLaren Shiraz: it is chocolaty, textural and fleshy and sourced from Whites Valleyโ€” a tiny pocket. The softness in the mouth becomes more clear once we know there is a little bit of American oak in the maturation mix. This is plush and intense, bloody and ferrous yet quite fine through the finish It is earthy and open-knit. Smart. Savoury."

Campillo is one of the few single-estate properties in Rioja Alavesa, inspired by the Bordeaux Chateau concept, an approach that has resulted in uniquely terroir driven wines. The winery was the vision of Faustino family patriarch, Julio Faustino Martinez, realizing his two great passions of art and wine.

Campillo Blanco Reserva Rioja 2020 is a bright golden colour. It stands out for its very high aromatic and complex intensity with floral aromas, tropical and citrus notes and a hint of toast from its 6 months in new American and French oak. The palate has very good integrated acidity, providing softness and volume.
