Distileria, Palenque, Taberna; what's the difference? The word you use is dependent on the region but at the end of the day they're all distilleries making agave spirits! 👏

What you see here is our family's original Taberna that was used starting in the 1920's. The roof is no longer, the bricks are eroded, the wood doors have fallen off, the grounds are overgrown, BUT these walls hold many stories. 🙌

This, this right here, is the Genesis of Lost Lore. ❤️

Our foundation lies in Agave, Family and Tradition. Our family started distilling and bootlegging agave spirits a century ago in Huitzila, Zacatecas, MX. Through the years this Tradition has been passed down generation to generation and we're proud of our story. 🇲🇽

What you see here is our LL bottle along with other bottles made by our family all those years ago. It's a snapshot in time and a reminder of our distilling roots that continue till this day.🫡

We are not your typical tequila brand, our Tradition cannot be bought and is PRICELESS. 🚫

🚨Amburana Update🚨

First, thank you for all the love and support with the Limited Repo Amburana release. We took a chance on making something different, it was carefully crafted and we're proud to have built complex aromas and flavors around Agave. Your feedback has been so positive and we're very appreciative. 🙏

Next, we have NO MORE of this Repo left. Texas and Georgia is just receiving the last shipments so please go support your local Bars, Restaurants and Liquor Stores that carry LL and other fine tequilas.⚡

Last, we're receiving a lot of messages on when there will be more of this tequila. It will definitely not be this year and we're unsure it will ever be released again. As in life, tomorrow may never come so we're enjoying the moment today. We're not your typical tequila brand, thanks for supporting us. 🤗

Escuela time! 🏫 Let's learn about our furry bat friends and why they're important to the tequila industry. 🦇

Agave Quiotes (reproductive stalks) only bloom at night and our Bee friends are snoozing at this time to do their pollinating job. 😴 So who's partying at night and here to the rescue? The Murcialago, our Bat amigos.🦸‍♂️

Bats are attracted to floras (Quiote Flowers) for their aroma and nectar. While feasting, pollen sticks to their fur to help pollinate other agaves and help in reproduction! 😍

Current day, most agaves come from hijuelos (pups/offshoots) so promoting bat friendly farming practices is important to keep our agaves diverse and resilient while keeping our little vampires fed and working.🧛‍♂️

Oh, and this illustration is for something special that's coming, all we can say is "Genesis". Salud y Gracias. 😶‍🌫️

Our Still Strength Blanco won GOLD at the inaugural international spirits competition! 🌎

Congrats to all the winners, we'll be celebrating with some juice tonight! Oh yeah, big shout out to for putting on an amazing agave centric spirits competition! 👏

We think we got most of our last releases to you all so THE SHOW MUST GO ON! Let us introduce you to Joven, a unique blend of Lost Lore Blanco and Reposado. 🧬

This Joven was carefully melded by El Mago himself, Sergio Cruz, and it's pretty dang good. So good we had to put on the label! Expect flavors of Cooked Agave, Honey and Leather, It's super duper tasty! 🙌

Have you met our friend Cristiana from ? She's simply amazing...😍

We had the pleasure to visit her and Master Distiller to try their new tasty lot, talk collab, and discuss water!💧

Water is a human right and Cristiana is paving the way with the to provide clean water systems and support other impact areas in agave communities!✊

As a tequila brand, we're inspired by Gente Buena to give back to the communities that have given us so much. There are some amazing projects and announcements in the pipeline, stay tuned! 📣
