We're proud to share that Joe Taylor has achieved WSET Level 2 certification, scoring an 84% on the notoriously difficult exam!

The Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) is the global standard for wine education, offering internationally recognized qualifications. Level 2 is a comprehensive examination covering wine regions, grape varieties, production methods, and professional tasting technique.

As EFESTĒ's third-generation owner, Joe is building the expertise to lead our winery forward. This certification gives him the technical foundation and global perspective to make strategic decisions across all areas of the business. Congratulations, Joe!

Beef Wellington Bites – Delectable bites of beef tenderloin, blanketed in sautéed wild mushrooms and cambazola, baked within delicate puff pastry and served with a Taylor Mag demi-glace

Smoked Salmon Dip – Rich cream cheese base with dry & cold smoked fresh Atlantic salmon, mixed with capers, lemons and shallots, topped with more smoked salmon and capers, served with house-made sourdough crostini

Duck Pizza with Drunken Cranberries – A base of cranberry, raspberry and Ceidleigh reduction with a hint of chipotle, succulent roasted duck, topped off with drunken cranberries and fresh grated gouda cheese, garnished with crispy duck skin
