What do bourbon, crushed ice, fresh mint, and simple syrup all have in common? They make a fantastic cocktail.
The Mint Julep, first printed in John Davis’ 1803 book titled Travels of Four and a Half Years in the United States of America, was described as a morning beverage for Virginians.

Happy Mint Julep Day! 🌿🥃
