We are so excited to announce the launch of Lost Lantern's United States of Bourbon, the first ever blend of bourbon from all 50 states!
The United States of Bourbon is a celebration of the wide-ranging landscapes, microclimates, farmers, and distillers across the country. It is definitive proof that great bourbon now comes from every region of the United States and that the need for true transparency in whiskey is increasingly essential. Each state is represented by a single distillery, all of which are named on the back label. Every cask of bourbon in this blend was hand-selected from a distillery visited and vetted by Lost Lantern over the course of five years.
This first release of United States of Bourbon comes in three expressions: Cask Strength, 100 Proof, and a limited 1776 Edition. The 100 Proof and Cask Strength versions will be recurring, and are the same blend of bourbons from all 50 states released at two different strengths. The 1776 Edition is a blend of bourbons from just the first 13 states, released especially for the 250th anniversary of the United States and will not be repeated.
