Heritages Dairy stores began in 1930, with Harold H Heritage, who we call “Grandpop Skeets.” During the Great Depression, with only one cow, Grandpop Skeets delivered milk to family, friends and neighbors in the Thorofare and Woodbury areas. In 1936, he purchased a small milk delivery route, and with his commitment to quality and freshness Grandpop Skeets grew the business, eventually selling 150-

200 quarts per day. Heritage’s Dairy Stores, Inc. was formed because Grandpop Skeets saw a decrease in the home delivery of milk. This decline led to the creation of the first Heritages Dairy Store, making Heritages a pioneer of convenience stores in New Jersey. Heritage’s was the first store to sell milk in gallon jugs in New Jersey, and to this day provides the sweetest, freshest milk to our guests using the same unique recipe. Today Heritages is still a family run business committed to the same values as when it was founded, and currently operates 33 store locations around the South Jersey area.

"Outside of work I often help some older folks in my area with house projects they have trouble with. I also like to mess around with antique muscle cars- I do have a 1992 Camaro. I come to work because I enjoy what I do. I especially enjoy coaching people to do the job and help them develop skills to move forward. I really enjoy the college crowd and sharing life lessens with them as they develop into adults while working with me."
