As many of you know, Brian and I have made the incredibly difficult decision to sell the market. This choice did not come easily. With the needs of our family, the mechanic shop, and the many responsibilities life has placed on our shoulders, we realized we simply can’t give the market the time, love, and attention it truly deserves.
This store has been so much more than a business to us — it has been a piece of our hearts. And all of you who have supported us, encouraged us, and welcomed us into your lives have made this journey unforgettable. Getting to know so many wonderful people has been one of the greatest blessings, and we are forever grateful for the friendships we’ve built along the way.
We’ve spent months searching for the right people to carry on the vision for the village, because we know how much this place means to the community. We wanted to be absolutely certain it would be left in caring, capable hands.
With that in mind, we are truly excited to share that, effective June 22, the market will be under new ownership. Please join us in warmly welcoming Mike Mullens and John Schildknecht as they step into this next chapter.
We kindly ask that you continue offering them the same support and kindness you’ve shown us. We believe wholeheartedly that they will honor what has been built here and help the market continue to grow and thrive.
