Community Update —

We Are Still Working to Get Fuel Back Up and Running

Community, I want to sincerely apologize that we are still unable to get the gas and diesel pumps running, especially during this holiday weekend. I know how important it is for our community to have a nearby place to get fuel, and I feel terrible that Creek Food Mart cannot provide that service for you right now.

I have been up since around 5:30 this morning trying everything I possibly can to get the system working. Last night, I worked on it until after 11:00 PM, and I have continued working early in the mornings and late into the evenings. I have not given up, and I will keep doing everything I can to find a solution.

Unfortunately, this has turned into a much larger problem than we first thought. The companies involved with the original installation have said the equipment is extremely old, with pumps that are around 35 years old. The technicians who have looked at it believe there is a communication issue between the point-of-sale system and the dispensers. In simple terms, the system is not properly telling the pumps to turn on and pump the correct grade of gas. Because it recognizes that something is not right, the dispensers will not pump — they only sit there and beep.

I have tried switching wires, checking boards, resetting what I can, and working through the back-office system. I have spent countless hours trying to learn and troubleshoot everything possible, but despite every effort, I still do not have the pumps operating correctly.

Please know that I understand how frustrating and inconvenient this is, especially for those who depend on Creek Food Mart for gas and diesel. I am just as disappointed and frustrated as you are. This is not something I am ignoring or putting off — I am working on it every chance I get because I care deeply about this store and this community.

I am truly sorry that I do not have fuel available for everyone this holiday weekend. Please be patient with us as we continue trying to get this resolved. Thank you to those who have checked on us, encouraged us, shared our fundraiser, and offered support. We appreciate every bit of kindness more than you know.

Every time they sign out of the back office it makes all the pumps stop working again!!!

After many long hours in the morning and late into the night I finally got the Non-Ethanol somewhat working, it will pump and all, but you must come in and pay for it after you get finish paying for it! Make sure to note the amount of gallons pumped as it not holding that number in the POS machine, so we have to enter it in manually!!!

Also don’t forget we now serving pizzas!!! Build them the way you want!!
