Founded in 2008 by Michael Bray, Passion Vines Wine and Spirit Co. has become the premier wine, beer and spirits experience in the South Jersey area and beyond! After a successful two-year run in Somers Point, Passion Vines expanded to another location in Egg Harbor Township in November of 2010.
When the adventure began, Passion Vines focused on curating an exceptional selection of wines from small, traditional winemakers across the globe, a fulfilling journey that continues to this day. It’s all about terroir – the unique flavors and characteristics imparted to a wine by the region in which it’s produced – and each bottle in our diverse collection is designed with quality in mind. From the passionate growers and farmers who work the soil to the talented winemakers who lovingly blend and age their creations, every artisan involved in the winemaking process ensures that each bottle and each glass tells a story.
Our dedication to quality has naturally extended into our craft beer and spirit selections, as well. In the last several years, the craft beer industry has exploded across the country, and many acclaimed breweries reside right here in New Jersey. We have a consistent and ever-rotating assortment of brews from our neighbors Cape May Brewing Co., Tuckahoe Brewing, and Double Nickel Brewing Company (to name a few). When it comes to selecting the best craft beers to feature, we focus on small, independent breweries that are making a difference in taste and quality for everyone.
When it comes to spirits, our selection features some of the best products from around the world at some of the most affordable prices on the market. Our whisky collection is unparalleled in our area, with an array of distinctive and rare bottles handpicked by our knowledgeable buyers. Our diverse selection of single-barrel releases and small production scotches and bourbons is sure to include your new favorite.

Passion Vines is not just a liquor store. We aim to create a remarkable experience for everyone who walks through our doors, calls us, or visits our website.
We believe the continued education of both ourselves and our Friends is imperative to a greater understanding and appreciation of wine, beer, spirits, and the world. In this spirit, we have cultivated one of the greatest drinking experiences in South Jersey. We have a full-service bar in the center of our Somers Point store with fifteen craft beers on tap, over a dozen wines uncorked and ready to pour, more than 200 whiskies to sample, signature cocktails, and artisanal cheese plates. All these ingredients culminate in a sensory experience unlike any other. Our bar is also the stage for tasting events that are consistently fun and educational. With an event line-up that focuses on rosé wines, tap take-overs from a local brewery, single-barrel scotches, and much more, there is a Passion Vines tasting for everyone. Our Egg Harbor Township store also features a tasting station where you can sample and learn about wines hand-selected by our staff of wine experts.

Passion Vines has a Social Mission
Our team is passionate about helping those in need and we take our social responsibility seriously. It is our mission to find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis, a goal inspired by Jayne Bray, mother of Passion Vines founder Michael Bray, who was diagnosed with MS in 1990. Since Passion Vines’ inception, we have dedicated much of our charitable resources to the National MS Society.
Our annual fundraiser, The Right Notes, is the pinnacle of our charitable work. The Right Notes is a celebration of hope, featuring more than 100 top-scoring wines, craft beer, spirits, delicious food, and live music! Since the first production of the event in 2012, we have raised more than $280,000 toward finding a cure for MS. The Right Notes grows more each year, and we aim to continue making a significant impact with each event.
We are all about small business making a big impact. At Passion Vines, we believe it is our human responsibility to give back as much as we can in new, creative ways. In support of this mission, we have donated to thousands of local charities, fundraisers, teams, schools throughout Atlantic and Cape May Counties since our founding in 2008.
