The team had an exceptional outing at the Adam Sobolik Memorial Race at Rogue River, formally known as Poor Boy's Raceway and Hobbies. 🏁

Team driver Andrew Morse TQ'ed and won 13.5 4wd buggy, 21.5 stock buggy, and 17.5 expert buggy with the V6S stock motor fleet, Radon Pro / Mini Spec 200A and 105A ESCs, V3 S*T servos, and 160C batteries. πŸ”₯ Following right behind him was team driver Joe Lintag in 2nd place in both the 13.5 and 17.5 classes!

Team driver Michael McCuen, now back on the Team Associated kits, came home in 2nd place in both Modified 2wd and 4wd buggy, sporting the V5M modified motor line!

Congratulations to all of our drivers for their top-notch performances, and a huge thank you to the club at Rogue River RC Raceway for keeping the R/C scene alive & well in Grants Pass, OR.

A very solid outing for Team Powers at the 2026 Whip Fest hosted by Whip It RC in Reno, Nevada. Great facility, great atmosphere, and great program ran by Chris & Erin Grant along with Kyle Linton. We hope to return here soon for the Griswold Classic in December!

We had team drivers Jovy Levin, Bryce Butterfield, and Sammy Moran compete in the pro modified classes. Jovy was able to TQ and win 4wd modified, while bringing it back to 4th from 8th on the grid in 2wd modified. In his 4wd, Jovy opted for the V5M 6.0T motor, Radon Pro V5BT 200A ESC, 5200 mAh 160C LP battery, and S*T V3 servo, as well as the 7.0T motor in 2wd. Bryce would go on to have p8 and p6 finishes, and Sammy would have p10 and p9 finishes. Sammy would also win the Whip contest on Saturday night and defend his Best-Whip title, so congratulations to him!

In the stock classes, we had team driver Derek Stephansen grab a pair of 2nd place finishes in 17.5 and 13.5 pro stock, sporting the V6S motor line. In regular stock 17.5, off-road team manager Tony Wilson was able to come home with a 2nd place finish running the V6S 21.5T motor!

We also would like to warmly welcome to the team local Whip It driver BJ Carl!

A huge congratulations to our drivers for their steady performances and a big thank you to those running Team Powers product over the weekend! Lastly, a warm thank you to the Whip It family for the hospitality and welcoming Team Powers into your facility!

2026 JCONCEPTS Florida Carpet Champs Official Event Flyer - Details below πŸ‘‡

Thank you to all of our event sponsors (returning and new)! We will make sure this is the best FCC to date and we are already receiving interest from drivers around the world to be in attendance. If you haven't attended an FCC before, make this your year to do it. You won't be disappointed.

Event Schedule and classes included on flyer.

Like previous years, you are not allowed to signup for Modified & Stock classes. You must choose a division. The only exception to this rule is the 40+ classes. If you are signed up for 40+, you are allowed to enter additional classes.

Intermediate 17.5 2WD, Intermediate 13.5 4WD, and 21.5 2WD Buggy racers will be required to run JConcepts Spec Tires. The spec tires will be announced soon with more details regarding pricing, amount of sets per driver, tire marking, etc.

There are no practice fees and practice will be ran by scheduled heats throughout the week (no lines).

We will have a food vendor on site. Saturday each driver will receive a food ticket to claim a free meal from the food vendor.

Registration will open on RC Signup on September 1st at 1PM EST. There is a 300 entry cap (before class filling). Entry fees are $120 per class. This is a quite small entry cap for an event this caliber. Mark September 1st on your calendar and set an alarm.

There will be a Junior Class available on RC Signup. We will run ONE Qualifer and ONE Main for this class.

Pit Spot reservations will open on Sept 7th. You must be registered AND paid for the event in order to reserve a pit spot. Pitting inside the building is very limited, but as always there will be a giant pitting area setup just outside of the building under a big tent. The outdoor pits will have tables, chairs, lighting, and power. All pit spot reservations will go through Beachline Raceway directly. You can send a message to their page or email them at [email protected]

This is a NO TIRE ADDITIVE, NO TIRE WARMERS Event. Anyone caught doing so will be disqualified from the event and asked to leave.

A big thank you to the owner of Beachline Raceway, Robbie Michael, for being our host once again for this amazing event.

If you have any other questions or concerns, feel free to send us a private message.
