Here’s a little inside scoop: at BHW, we usually import one or two wines from a winery—but with Pasetti, every bottle was so impressive, we brought in the whole range.

Turns out, most wines don’t actually need all that fuss. In fact, you could be missing out by overdoing it.
So, why the big deal with decanting? The idea is to let the wine "breathe"—allowing oxygen to soften tannins and release aromas and flavors more vividly.
But here’s the catch: this doesn’t always require an elaborate decanter. Simply pouring wine into your glass, swirling it, and letting it breathe as you go about your evening does the trick—especially for younger, more accessible wines.
