✨️Special Item Alert✨️

MARIANNA VON ALLESCH (1886 - 1972) was a German artist known for her paintings, ceramics, and glass work. Von Allesch trained under Bruno Paul and Adelbert Niemeyer at the Royal Academy of Arts with a focus on painting, arts and crafts, as well as textile design.

The works of von Allesch were shown in exhibitions and museums across Europe and the USA. The Princeton University Art Museum in Princeton and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York have also acquired some of their works for their private collections.

Our loves for vintage and sustainability collide with our upcycled & handcrafted items. ✨️

The Picasso Jasper shown here was actually obtained from the estate of a lifelong rockhound. ⚒️

Amanda finished the lapidary work on the slab and turned it into this cabochon. From there, we used a method called electroforming to give the piece a recycled copper bezel. 👩‍🏭

While we do still have some old stock stones to work through from elsewhere, like this labradorite, we will at some point only be using US mined stone from this estate, along with others we've collected ourselves. 💍

Every new year for the last 3 years, we've staged another store space. ✨️

We're so grateful to be able to offer another 100 square feet of curated nostalgia at in Old Auburn this time around.

This marks a total of 410 square feet of curation for us in 3 locations across the greater Sacramento area 🥹 our community full of people who appreciate vintage, upcycled, repurposed, and all that it represents is growing.

Hearing the adventurous memories that the space brings back to life, even if just for a moment, is always a highlight.

& don't worry, these are still just the bones! Now that we have our spaces mapped, the focus is on packing it in! 💼🗺

We have so much to add to all three locations, plus some spring refreshes. 💐 what are you coming back for next month or on the hunt for in the meantime?

INCOLAY ✨️ This poppy cameo jewelry casket is one of the most special pieces of Incolay we've ever had the honor of acquiring. The composite stone piece was handcrafted in the USA with care in a gorgeous green color. The original sticker and care card from the company are intact and included. 🥹🤍 The collection was called "Spring Glory."
