🍾 New York City — we're celebrating 50 years the only way we know how.

50 Days. 50 Tastings. Free.

Starting May 26, we're opening our cellar at 270 Madison Ave every day through July 23 — pouring Krug, Cristal, Sassicaia, Pingus, First Growth Bordeaux, and much more at no charge. No sign-up. No ticket. Just show up between 2–5 PM and taste something you won't forget.

Three 2 oz pours per visit, two visits per week per person — because the good bottles should go around.

Whether you're a longtime K&L member or have never visited us before, come raise a glass. Fifty years in the making.

It's Bordeaux week at K&L—and we packed it full. In honor of the 2025 Futures Campaign that's currently underway, we've added tastings and blind challenges to get you in the Bordeaux mood.

Thu 5/14: Left Bank vs. Right Bank: can you tell the difference blind? Come find out.
Fri 5/15: Loire Sauvignon Blanc vs. Bordeaux Blanc: same main grape, very different styles.
Sat 5/16: Bordeaux Overachievers, hand-picked by our buyer Ryan Moses. Trust us on this one.

A big week across all five K&L stores!
Saturday is the main event: Heritage & Champagne at San Francisco, Redwood City, Culver City, and Hollywood. Six bottles, Grand Cru villages, Roederer, Billecart-Salmon rosé—the day before Mother's Day. Tickets are $25 and they will go fast.
The rest of the week is just as good. Eyrie Vineyards in San Francisco and Redwood City on Wednesday. Pouilly-Fuissé on Friday at four locations. Three free events in New York—Italian wines with our own Orazio Campoli, Japanese spirits, and a Barolo vertical. Wine Club Member Pickup on Thursday at all California stores.

Happy Cinco de Mayo! Spirits Buyer Josh Gelfand is going to be drinking a Tommy’s Margarita today—made with . He explains how to make it in the video. Recipe below 🪇

Tommy’s Margarita

Tequila: 2 oz (Manuscrito “Chapter One” Single Estate Blanco Tequila)
Fresh Lime Juice: 1 oz
Agave Nectar: ½ oz (or to taste — Respeto Artisanal Pure Small Batch 100% Agave Syrup)

Chill: Chill a rocks glass and rim it with salt if desired.
Combine: Add tequila, lime juice, and agave nectar to a cocktail shaker.
Shake: Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well-chilled.
Strain: Pour the mixture into the prepared glass filled with fresh ice.
Garnish: Garnish with a lime wedge.
