A Cincinnati Police Captain and her husband (a Cincinnati Police Lieutenant) got pulled over for hesitating at a green light and touching a center yellow line. They both presented their badge to the officer. The arresting officer noted a strong odor of alcohol.
Following the arrest, the Cincinnati PD temporarily suspended her police powers pending the outcome of the judicial process.
Ultimately she was acquitted of the OVI charge by a jury. (The bartenders who served her that night testified that she did not appear noticeably intoxicated when she left their establishments)
