1. Moscato grapes, the source of Moscato wine, have a distinctively fruity and aromatic flavor profile. The grapes also exhibit a noticeable floral aroma, sometimes likened to jasmine or honeysuckle.
2. Minutolo is a rare, indigenous Italian white grape from Puglia, specifically the Valle d'Itria. It was nearly lost to extinction but was revived in the early 2000s. Minutolo wines are known for their aromatic character, often displaying notes of white flowers, citrus, and herbs, with balanced acidity.
3. 90% Pinot Grigio generally has a light-bodied, crisp, and dry taste with flavors of green apple, pear, and citrus like lemon and lime. It often exhibits a refreshing acidity and a clean finish. Some also detect hints of minerality or subtle floral aromas. 10% Trebbiano wines are generally known for being dry, crisp, and refreshing, with high acidity and subtle fruit flavors. They often exhibit notes of green apple, lemon, and pear, sometimes with hints of almond and herbs. The high acidity makes them a versatile choice for food pairings, especially with light dishes like chicken and seafood, as well as with more challenging vegetables like asparagus.
4. Trebbiano is a dry, medium body wine has a gentle combination of smoothness and tartness. On the nose, it shows attractive aromas of apple and pear, framed by citrus fruit with a refreshing finish.
5. Vermentino will offer up lively aromas of pear, white peach, lime and pink grapefruit with subtle notes of crushed rocks and citrus zest. On the palate, Vermentino is almost always dry and somewhat oily with flavors of grapefruit and citrus, with a crushed rocky minerality and saltiness.
6. Corvina produces light to medium body wines with a light crimson coloring. The grapes' naturally high acid make the wine somewhat tart with a slight, bitter almond note. The finish is sometimes marked with sour-cherry notes. The small berries of Corvina are low in tannins and color extract but have thick skins that are ideal for drying and protecting the grape from rot. Stainless steel version with no oak.
7. Barbera d'Alba is a red wine grape variety that is particularly popular in Piedmont Northern Italy. Most of the wines made from Barbera d'Alba are medium to full bodied, with aromas of cherries, dark fruits, and herbs.
8. Montepulciano d'Abruzzo boasts dark cherry, plum, and brambly berry notes, with balancing acidity and occasionally assertive tannins. Italian red wine made from the Montepulciano wine grape in the Abruzzo region of east-central Italy.
9. Nebbiolo wine is known for its high acidity and robust tannins, often described as having a "grippy" or "leathery" texture. It typically offers flavors of red fruit, like cherry and raspberry, which can evolve into deeper notes of dried fruit like figs and prunes as the wine ages. You can also expect to find floral aromas of rose and violet, along with hints of licorice, leather, and tar. Some Nebbiolos, particularly those from Barolo, can also showcase earthy notes of truffle and to***co.
10. Amarone della Valpolicella, or simply Amarone, is a prestigious, full-bodied, dry red wine from the Veneto region of Italy. It's known for its rich flavors and distinctive production process, which involves partially drying the grapes to concentrate their sugars and flavors. This technique is called appassimento. The wine is typically made from Corvina and Rondinella grapes, but may also include Molinara, Oseleta, and Corvinone, it has a higher alcohol content, intense flavors, and rich complexity. Amarone is often characterized by its deep ruby color, full-bodied structure, and a symphony of aromas ranging from ripe dark fruits to spices and to***co.
11. Verona Corvina is a red grape variety primarily cultivated in the Verona area of the Veneto region in Italy..Corvina wines are known for their vibrant ruby color, aromas of red fruit (especially cherry), and spicy notes, with a full, enveloping palate.
12. Barolo is a red wine made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes in the Piedmont wine region .It's known for its high acidity and tannins, which contribute to its ability to age well for many years. Barolo is often referred to as "the wine of kings, the king of wines" due to its reputation and aging potential. It's characterized by its garnet color, often developing an orange hue with age, and complex aromas of red fruit, rose, tar, and earthy notes like truffle. Barolo is also recognized for its potential to age gracefully, developing tertiary flavors over time.
