Come on out this Friday evening!
Our July show will feature the fabulous seven-piece funk, blues, and soul collective, Pocket Chocolate. Rooted in the sounds of New Orleans and Louisiana "joie de vivre," the group has played around the Gulf Coast since forming in 2019. In 2023, Pocket Chocolate released a debut EP which was recorded at venues across New Orleans. They are currently recording an LP with Jake Eckert of the New Orleans Suspects. With a blend of originals and samples from music influences across genres, their sound captivates audiences with a scrumptious modern take on the vibrant music found throughout Louisiana.
Ouachita Live is a free monthly concert series that takes place the last Friday of every month from March through October from 7-9 PM in Downtown West Monroe's Alley Park. Concerts are free, but donations are encouraged and go to support our artists. Food trucks and spirits on-site. Bring a chair to guarantee your seat. The Downtown West Monroe Revitalization Group nonprofit presents the series.
