Parking renovations at Billy Goat Hole on Dauphin Island are almost complete. Trailer parking will now be pull in instead of back in.
Look for new road signs and striping in the next two weeks that will identify single lane traffic, ramp preparation lane and a tie down lane.

Mobile police officers set up crime scene tape this morning around an area along Navco Road near Morningside Drive, where a body was found.

33-year-old Mont Highley IV's body was found in grain silo on January 14, 2004, almost two months after he was last seen and approximately 2 miles away from the family hunting camp near Shorter, AL. During the search for Mont, the family's golf cart had been located abandoned and stuck on a tree root approximately 4 miles away from the camp and Mont's shirt was located by a nearby creek. His green Tahoe was found with the keys still in it at a house used as a hunting camp by another family, and his wallet remained in the front seat - his money still inside.

Over the last 18 years, very little information has been released about the results of the investigation, including whether there were any person(s) of interest, and we've found no arrests or charges related to Mont's death.
