You could have supported any other business.

But you picked me and mine! And I’m forever grateful.

Which makes me a little sad to share this. After a lot of thought, consideration, and prayers, I’ve decided to close shop as a cigar vendor. While I have loved every minute of smoking, laughing, selling, and being THE CIGAR CHICK, God is shifting me in another direction.

A season is a period of the year that is distinguished by special climate conditions. Each has its own light, temperature, and weather patterns that repeat yearly. (That’s what google said!)

Ecclesiastes 3:1 — (NCV) says: There is a time for everything, and everything on earth has its special season.

Now beloved; I don’t know what that means for you right now or whether you’re in the midst of your winter season where sadness, heartbreak and grief has shown up and threatened to overtake you and your mind. Or whether you’re in the newness of spring where hope and new beginnings seem promising, the smile just won’t leave your face because favor; it’s everywhere. Or summer done appeared and brought with the sun an abundance of distractions and you just can’t seem to get going, anything finished and it feels like you’re going in a hundred different directions. Or just maybe you’re in the midst of fall where you’re up one day with successes and then here comes failure to knock you back down and you keep saying; it’s always something!

Wheresoever you find yourself, keep going. I don’t know when your season will change, when the winds of heaviness will stop blowing, the sun will stop beating down on you and the flowers will bloom again but what I do know is this; while you can’t determine how you’ll come out of the season you’re in; you can determine your attitude during it!

Be content! I’m not saying be happy hell is breaking loose; no what I’m saying is stand still in the rain and ease your mind. You ever wonder how someone going through so much; momma died, job downsized, eviction notice and then some ninja done stole the car didn’t give up or go crazy? It’s called peace! Knowing that I can’t change nothing I can’t control so what’s the point of me and God worrying about it when His hands are bigger than mine, He has all the power and His promises never fail!
Chile; gone sleep through that thunderstorm happening in your season because God is still working but when you wake up KEEP FAITHING!

Seasons eventually change and all that rain you got last season was watering you for the blessings getting ready to come. You’ve just got to keep doing the work until then! 🙌🏽
