I want to make this page about cars that we use in our daily commute to work, run errands in, but at the same time enjoy driving everyday, for us that can only budget one.

Time to replace the timing belt for yours truly’s Suby!
Chris, our experienced technician in spite of his young age did the job!
He replaced the timing belt, water pump and tensioners etc…
We should have a reliable engine for the next 150K miles.

It broke my heart to have this family who bought this beautiful looking car, the paint was intact, the engine was runing ok, but there were some problems in the was the axels or drive shafts were runing.

This was after a supposed pre-ispection by their trusted mechanic.

After looking under the car and realizing how bad the rust was underneath the car and how this was impacting performance we told the customer to prepare for possible expensive repair bills to have the car back and running well.

Remember to look under the car as part of your pre purchase inspection!

Early with all the dificulties of a busy day, I got the umpleasant surprise of having my car broken into and having items of personal importance taken from my car besides the broken glass.

I brought the car in to my Chakos Auto Repair and had my favorite Tech Chris repair not only the window, but other cosmetic details. Sad news for local race fans: The Irwindale Speedway and Dragstrip will be closing at the end of the year.
