Sometimes the hardest beers to get are the ones that say the least.
No neon cans.
No exploding fruit smoothie names.
No twelve paragraph hop breakdowns.
Just Maine Beer Company quietly making some of the best beer in the country while the rest of us fight over a single case allocation.
And when we say limited… we mean LIMITED.
We’re currently allocated ONE case a week.
That’s basically one bottle per person before Blackbeard starts hiding them from the us.
Straight out of Freeport, Maine:
Lunch
The legend for a reason. Orange, papaya, grapefruit, floral hops, and that unmistakable savory edge of onion and garlic that old-school hop heads chase. Firm bitterness, sturdy malt backbone, and ridiculously balanced for how much character it packs in.
ABV: 7.0%
Peeper
Bright peach, orange, lemon, grapefruit, and melon layered over a soft malt backbone. Crisp and refreshing with little flashes of berry and pine that keep it interesting all the way through. Incredibly easy to drink and dangerously easy to finish.
ABV: 5.5%
Woods & Waters
Melon, pineapple, and pink grapefruit up front with soft pine, subtle dankness, and a clean grain sweetness underneath. Bright, crisp, and outdoorsy in the best possible way. Feels like drinking a hiking trip without the sore knees.
ABV: 6.2%
Some beers scream for attention.
Maine Beer Company never really had to.
Cheers!
