TICKS ARE BAD THIS YEAR.
This isn’t hype. Reports (including from the CDC) are warning about increased tick activity and tick-borne illness risk.
But let me make this personal…
I have battled Lyme disease for years. And it’s not something you want to mess with.
This isn’t just a “bite and move on” situation. For many people, it turns into something much deeper.
Lyme and Lyme-related infections don’t affect everyone the same.
Some people get exposed and barely react. Others deal with months—or years—of symptoms.
And here’s what most people don’t realize:
Most people do NOT get the bull’s-eye rash. Some don’t notice symptoms at all in the beginning.
But that doesn’t mean nothing is happening.
It can stay in the body and start showing up later as fatigue, brain fog, joint pain, nervous system issues, and those “mystery” symptoms that don’t make sense.
Why does it affect people so differently?
BECAUSE TERRAIN MATTERS.
If your body is already overloaded with toxins, inflamed, struggling with drainage (liver, lymph, gut), or stuck in stress mode… things have a much easier time taking hold.
And this is important…
Yes, ticks are a major carrier. But they are not the only way people are being exposed.
Other insects, spiders, and even animals can play a role in exposure.
Meaning this is bigger than just “watch for ticks.”
So what should you actually do right now?
Not panic. But don’t ignore it either.
Check your body (and your kids and pets) after being outside. Support your immune system daily. Open drainage pathways. Lower your toxic load. Pay attention to new or “off” symptoms after any bite.
And yes—there are ways to be proactive.
I always recommend having a few key things on hand during tick season for you, your kids, and your pets so if a bite happens, you’re not scrambling… you can start supporting your body right away.
One simple thing I use daily this time of year is clove tea as part of that proactive support.
I also have targeted recommendations and protocols, including options for children and animals, to help support your body if exposure happens.
Don’t wait until something shows up. Be prepared.
