CAN YOU EXPLAIN JUST HOW HARD IT IS FOR THE AVERAGE CIGAR ENTHUSIAST TO CREATE A DYNAMIC, COMPLEX CIGAR?
Blending a delicious cigar is novel and has its own complexities. I always tell people if you go to a restaurant and you’re from out of town and you ask the chef for the recipe because you think you can make the dish yourself, and the chef says “yes, of course,” but when he hands you the recipe it says “cut of beef” and you ask the chef “what cut of beef” and the chef tells you “I don’t do the shopping. I just bring the ingredients together.”
There are no chefs that don’t know how to go shopping. Knowing how to buy and select to***co is an essential part of blending a cigar. To do that well and create a reliable blend that can be reproduced by hand thousands of times over is a challenge.
We think of blends as projects. Sometimes those projects span over half of a decade. Combining the ingredients at the end of a long project is writing the history of our performance with that to***co.
