Louis gets chemo everyday, along with Spinal Taps almost every week or two. Do to the pain that he has from all the Chemo, he is being home schooled. He went to school for the first 2 weeks of 6th grade and it was a lot for him. Louis has been through a lot in his life already but he continues to be a fighter. He recently entered his second relapse after receiving a stem cell transplant in Februa
ry 2014. Drs are giving him a 5% survival rate. This is our third time around . he now has damage to his heart, kidneys, and liver, so he can't handle any more strong chemotherapy. After having his transplant we were informed that the cancer has returned . And now they are giving Louis 2 months to fight this battle. One of the reasons Louis can't have another transplant is in order for him to have one he will need very strong chemo. And at this point we can't because of his heart condition. It could put him in heart failure. So we are trying to kill this cancer with home chemo. We are praying for a miracle. He enjoys playing games and watching his favorite football team play which is the Texans. His favorite player is JJ Watts. To all of Louis fans it saddens me to inform you on the results we received today. With a heavy heart and a big lump in my throat. I was told that my son has 2 months to fight his battle. Louis isn't strong enough for the strong chemo. He has a bad heart. And his Dr says there is very little that can be done. If i go with the hard chemo he could have heart failure. So I'm damn if i do and damn if i don't . They sent us home with chemo to take everyday. He was given chemo at his visit. Louis has 50% cancerous cells in his bone marrow. Now with a miracle and prayers we are hoping that this weeks chemo will contain that 50% or lower them numbers. We need for his body to be strong in order to have another transplant. It was so horrible to see his face when he was awaiting chemo. This is every parents worse nightmare ! Your first reaction is to make it go away or fix the problem. I'm still in shock and can't let this go. My heart is sad and i now live in fear. This is my baby boy ,the baby of the family and our pride and Joy!!!!! I ask that you pray hard get other people involved and have them pray and their people pray. Lets start a huge chain prayer. Our family is devastated and we need help! And most of all Louis needs you guys cheering him on! (sigh) Louis is about to take 30 pills of chemo right now. well again i ask PRAYERS!!!! Update!
