The CBA is an open format team bass fishing trail located on Lake Chickamauga out of Chattanooga Tennessee. 2026 marks the Trails 50th anniversary.

Congratulations to Avry Thomason. He dominated the 2026 Boatlogix-50th Annual CBA Classic fishing solo. Leading the tournament wire to wire and topping off the final day with big fish- he beat a field of 28 boats that qualified to fish in this event that paid a total purse of over $28k!! I bet his partner/ brother wishes he wasn’t duck hunting!

Every team that qualified for the event went home with a check. Cash was handed out for a big fish each day. Cash and prizes for youth champion, youth runner up, as well as First, Second, and Third place in season points. A big fish of the year was awarded cash as well. While everyone was stuffing cheddar in their pockets, we all enjoyed a BBQ sandwich from Choo Choo BBQ- that hit the spot!

Thank you to all of the fisherman that came out for the 50th season! We had the best weather (until the classic) and a lot of fun. The 2027 officers have plans to make this even better next year. Can’t wait to see you all then!

The 2026 season is in the books! Thank you to all the teams that fished with us this year. Although we didn't hit our partipation goals, our Payouts were outstanding. The CBA is not possible without our many great sponsors. Be sure to stop in and help promote their business. A special thanks to Van Foster at Bass Boat Technologies for being our title sponsor and David Craft at Boat Logix for sponsoring our Classic. Congratulations to Avery Thomason!!! He is our 2026 Classic Champion.

The 2026 CBA Classic presented by Boatlogix;

Congrats to all of you who will be competing over the next two days. We have a pile of money to payout to a field of 28 qualifying teams.

Gents, please have your boats in the water in plenty of time. It looks like safelight could hit a little after 7. We would like to have the chance to make some announcements before we take off.

We will weigh in at 3pm EST both days, unless we say otherwise at blast off.

The weather will be a challenge. Morning conditions will be high NE winds so please be prepared. Everyone that fishes should make sure to attend the weigh in Sunday evening. Thank you all for making the 50th year of the CBA a great one!

The clock is winding down on getting signed up! We will close sign ups today when fish n fun and fish tails close for the day.

The weather this weekend will be much cooler with some wind in the forecast. I think this will even the playing field a bit and we look forward to an awesome classic. We welcome all of our sponsors and anyone in the community to come out and watch h the weigh ins that will begin at 3:15 both Saturday and Sunday at Chester Frost.

Heads up! There will be no cards to fill out for the Classic. Just make sure your payment is noted on the entry sheet that will be located at the sign ups.

The 2026 CBA year end-Classic event sponsored by Boatlogix is coming up October 17-18.

Please pay attention:

Sign ups will be held Monday Oct 12th- Thursday the 16th. Each of our sign up locations ( Fish n fun & Fishtales) will have a copy of the blast off sheet. You will blast off in the order you finished in points. Those who qualified to fish for free (top 15) will owe a $20 big fish fee. The rest of the field will pay the normal entry fee+big fish.

It is important that at least one team member makes it to the sign up location to get signed up. We will need to have all of the monies collected by Thursday evening so we can put this payout together.

Speaking of the pay out….we are still putting money together, but we are looking at a total purse that will exceed $25k. First place will pay $5k and 10th place will be $1k+!!!! We are looking at a payout that will pay most of the field thanks to all of the awesome sponsors we have.

At the weigh in, we will be handing out a bunch of prizes. 1st, 2nd, 3rd in points. Youth team of the year. Big fish of the year. All classic checks, and a ton of prizes. Thanks to Choo Choo BBQ and Eric Beaird, we will have a bite to eat at the weigh in.

We will also take a minute to appoint/ elect next year’s officers. Please make it a point to attend
