Happy Father’s Day!

Today we’re raising a glass to all the dads out there — including the one who’s been in this with us every step of the way.

From the first spark of this whiskey journey to every barrel since, we’ve been lucky to build something we believe in with our dad by our side. Not everyone gets that chance, and we don’t take it for granted.

Cheers to the ones who raised us, taught us, and still walk the path with us.

We had a blast last night with the Bourbon Underground crew in Henderson, a fantastic group of bourbon lovers who know their stuff and know how to have a good time.

Zach shared the Silk Velvet story, diving into Henderson’s role in the early days of Kentucky bourbon and how Silk Velvet fits into that rich history. We love any chance to spread the word about Henderson’s place in bourbon’s beginnings and it’s why we proudly feature Henderson, Kentucky on every bottle we sell.

Last night, we had the honor of supporting the 2025 Most Admired Women of Kentucky, a celebration of leadership, impact, and community across the Commonwealth.

The evening spotlighted incredible women from across the state, while also highlighting Western Kentucky. Thomason's Barbecue served up unforgettable food, Silk Velvet flowed throughout the night, and Cap & Cork crafted a signature cocktail that truly stole the show.

A standout moment for us: hearing our own Kelsey Hargis speak among such an inspiring group of women. We’re proud to raise a glass to her, and to all the remarkable women shaping Kentucky’s future.

Here’s to honoring the women of today, and remembering pioneers like America Worsham, a bold figure from our past who helped shape the legacy behind Silk Velvet.
