Before Gas Bros was a brand, legends were already walking through our doors.
I recently came across this video from back in 2014 of the legendary DMX giving some words of wisdom to an up-and-coming artist who was freestyling for him.
What many people don’t know is that DMX was one of the first celebrities who became a regular at our store, long before Gas Bros was even a brand.
He would often stop by to see me, and one thing I will always remember about X was his energy. He was always genuine, spoke about God, showed love to everyone around him, and treated people with respect regardless of who they were.
He never needed a camera or an audience to show love. That’s just who he was.
Looking back, moments like these remind me that the history of Gas Bros goes much further back than the brand itself.
Rest in peace, DMX. Your energy, wisdom, and the love you showed will never be forgotten. 🕊️
