Opening day is Saturday and we couldn’t be more excited to serve you!

Hours for Memorial Day weekend are
Saturday: 2pm - 9pm
Sunday: 2pm - 9pm
Monday (Memorial Day): 2pm - 9pm

We will be open and ready but the renovations will be a continued process so please be patient with us as we keep updating and arranging the building.

We have added new recipes to the menu and by request we are now serving

BOBAS - 4 flavors that can be added to your dirty soda or energizer

The hot black coffee will not be available til the 28th as we are waiting on Java to get the machine and hook it up.

This is the new business that is operating in the old ice cream shack building. Check out their page and website. Channel all questions to them as I want accurate information being relayed and it’s nothing to do with us at Richwood Store. This is a new business run by locals in your community.

We are up and open for business in person and telehealth. At the current time, we can only take cash, check or credit card/FSA/HSA.

The fraud investigation into MN DHS has shutdown MinnesotaCare insurance credentialing. Until they process us, we will be unable to credential with many insurance providers that require this step.

Optum insurance, America PPO, and Medicare do not require DHS pre approval. I am hoping to have some of these completed in the next couple of months.

Well the decision has been made! We are moving the Ice Cream Shack to the old liquor store building. We are hoping to have it open May 23rd fingers crossed that we get it all done. Thank you for being patient with us and being so supportive along the way. Stay tuned for updates and new menu items!

As a way of saying Thank you for a great season at the Ice Cream Shack we are serving Burgers, chips and 1 free scoop of ice cream from 11am until we run out of product. Come grab lunch on us today! Burger patties from Benson + Turner Foods, Inc.
