A new satirical political movement called the “Cockroach Janta Party (CJP)” is going viral after thousands of young people joined the protest over controversial remarks allegedly linked to India’s Chief Justice.
Manifesto by CJP
01: If CJP comes to power, retired Chief Justices will not get Rajya Sabha seats as rewards after retirement.
02: If any genuine vote is deleted, the Election Commission officials responsible should face strict action under anti-terror laws.
03: Women should get 50% reservation in Parliament and 50% representation in Cabinet positions.
04: Media companies owned by Ambani & Adani should lose their licences so that independent media can grow. Media anchors’ bank accounts should also be investigated.
05: Any MLA or MP who switches political parties should be banned from contesting elections or holding public office for 20 years.
