I sent this to the publisher who sent me the info: "Interesting note on Lovenheim. He is a night club owner in Raleigh. Moved down from Rochester NY after some kind of activities. I had court order to buy The Rock from the previous owners when their bank was foreclosing on the loans. I had the financing as well as ambitious plans and created the full infrastructure to make the track a viable facility using my experience as a seasoned CPA in the entertainment field, an experienced operator in the nonprofit world and working with government Agencies, and a great support team. My nonprofit was turning it into a reintegration center for military, veterans, families and our disabled friends. Later we would bring in first responders and their families. We would have become the 3rd largest employer in the County without any State funds but we ran into a lot of corruption. I can state that having worked with one of the owners of Studio 54 I am quite aware of what goes on with night clubs. Just saying. He received two traunches of funding from the government.
Despite pleas to Cooper as AG he failed to act responsibly and over ten thousand North Carolina veterans committed su***de in the following years without having had an opportunity to participate in our demonstrated successful su***de prevention programs. Those are NC State numbers alone - not including the rest of the country.
One retired Special Forces general was ready to jump in as COO and another one, a retired Army doctor, was going to head our medical program that included researchers from prominent universities and a university DNA lab. We had former highly decorated Special Ops and Airborne personnel lined up as cadre and advisors and we were listed as a partner with the White House NGO partnership program. We had tremendous support from businesses. We were not light weights. But the corruption from Cooper on down was pathetic.
I sued Cooper in Federal Court as AG but he was absolved when he was elected Governor. His office played games with me throughout the entire process. Meanwhile he approved a $500 million partnership that violated Federal law and got away with it. Someone privately told me may have profited from it through investment partnerships.
We had about 50 events lined up for 2016 from racing to private events as well as as serious corporate interest and support. One company was letting us use their race car line for paraplegic drivers.
The corruption shut us down. I have created a new website VetsHelp.org that is being slowly populated with biochem issues, studies and actions because of my own damage from injuries and biotech exposures in the military.
