SWEETS FOR YOUR SWEET
Toffee Trifle made with our customer-favorite is the perfect ♥️ Day treat!
💕💕💕
Ingredients—
•1 box chocolate cake mix (baked, cooled & cubed)
•1 bag (10-12 oz) Chapel Hill Toffee in small pieces
•2 boxes instant chocolate mousse (or instant pudding) made with milk
•1 large container (16 oz) thawed Cool Whip or homemade whipped cream
•1/2 cup coarsely chopped pecans (optional)
Instructions—
•Layer 1: Layer of cubed cake at bottom of trifle dish
•Layer 2: Layer of chocolate mousse over the cake
•Layer 3: Sprinkle a generous amount of crushed Chapel Hill Toffee (& pecans) over pudding
•Layer 4: Top with layer of whipped topping.
Repeat: Repeat the layers (cake, pudding, toffee, cream) until the dish is full, finishing with whipped cream and heavy topping of toffee bits.
•Chill: Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight, to allow the cake to soak up the flavors
