Rylan Speight won the 2025 Summer Shootout Series round four Bandolero Outlaws feature, after Landon Thrasher was disqualified in post-race tech for his car being "outside of tolerance" per INEX. LN interview will be posted tonight!

Welcome Penelope Carlisle to Rapp Racing.
Our first time working together was this weekend at Dominion Raceway on the road course. She did a fantastic job improving her best time each session.
Penelope finished the weekend with a 5th place in race one and 4th in race two.
Rapp Racing will be on the wrenches for the 38 at premier events this year.

Rapp Racing's newest driver, Josh Penn Jr., had a great test at Florence today. Josh has a background in quarter midget racing. He did a fantastic job adapting to a much larger track. We look forward to working with him this upcoming season.

Update on some items we offer besides setup/maintenance:
Bumper tabs for legends and bando
Bumper tab replacement and straighting
Bandolero spindle refurbish.
Bandolero headers
Bandolero axles. All are checked for straightness and corrected.

We have a couple openings available on the maintenance, setup and driver development program. We offer a more personal experience, emphasizing skill building.
Our cars/drivers have won multiple championships, from coast to coast and north to south.

Bando Nats was a success! Congrats to Mason Surgener on his big WIN in the Outlaw class. Congrats to Kaeden Ballos on his 7th place finish in Outlaws. (Kaeden got turned while racing for 3rd). And congrats to Jack Smith on his 5th place finish in Beginner Bandits. We are very proud of all three of these wheelmen! Great job!!!!! Today we were at Charlotte Motor Speedway for Bandolero East Nationals. We had qualifying and heat races today. Mason Surgener qualified pole, won his heat race, and is starting on the pole in tomorrow’s feature. Kaeden Ballos qualified 5th, finished 5th after contact in the heat race, and is starting 7th in tomorrow’s feature. And Jack Smith qualified 6th, finished 3rd in his heat, and is starting 6th in the feature tomorrow. Great job, drivers. We are definitely ready for tomorrow!

Congrats to Jack Smith on his 4th place finish, Kaeden Ballos on his 3rd place finish, and Mason Surgener on his WIN last week in the Summer Shootout. Thank you Doc Miracle for coming to help us in the pits and thank you Zack Miracle, Zac Fowler, Landon Rapp, and Levi Rapp for doing what y’all do every week. We will be back racing Monday and Tuesday this week. See y’all there!

Our drivers and crew had a great Week 1 at the Summer Shootout. We had fast cars both nights with the wheelmen to back them up! Feature wins, heat wins, top 5s, and solid improvements by everyone.
Great job Mason Surgener, Kaeden Ballos, Joel Smith, and Jack Smith. We are ready for Week 2!

Practice on Monday went great until the rain moved in. We did manage to get a round of practice for each car before practice was canceled. We’re anxious for Rounds 1 and 2 on Monday and Tuesday of the . We have great drivers, great crew, and this is definitely going to be an exciting summer at the track. 🏁
