Sometimes, the most powerful thing you can do is stop.
Not because you are giving up.
Not because you have lost your way.
But because clarity rarely speaks louder than an overwhelmed mind.
So stay for a minute—and breathe.
Let the noise settle. Let your body soften. Allow yourself to be present without immediately trying to fix, explain, or escape what you feel.
Within that stillness, something begins to shift.
You can examine the thoughts moving through you without becoming each one. You can recognize which emotions belong to this moment and which have traveled with you from somewhere in the past. You can begin to hear the quiet knowing beneath everything you were taught to believe.
Awakening does not always arrive as a dramatic revelation.
Sometimes, it is simply the moment you become still enough to recognize yourself again.
Perhaps you are not trying to become a new person.
Perhaps you are remembering the person who has been there all along.
