It looks like a stormy day at the Idaho Capitol building. We still have guided walk-in tours Monday (thru October), Friday and Saturday mornings at 10:30 am. Meet your guide on the Garden level (basement) at the Visitor's/Information Desk - and get the full tour! Self-guided tours are always available as well.

It is a beautiful day down at the Idaho State Capitol building! Walk-in self-guided tours are always available with our Capitol of Light booklet or scavenger hunt. The building is open everyday from 7 am to 7 pm to all visitors.

Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays during September and October we have walk-in guided tours at 10:30 am. Don't miss your chance to see the Capitol building with a guide.

Happy Friday! Remember we have our guided walk-in tours this morning at 10:30 am, Saturday and Monday at 10:30 am. You will meet your guide on the Garden level (basement) at the Information Center/Visitor Desk, and they will take you on a full tour of the Idaho State Capitol building. The tour last 75-90 minutes. Don't miss your chance at a guided tour!

Smoke is still clearing the air, but the skies are a beautiful blue as the town of Boise wakes up this morning!
Don't forget we have our guided walk-in tour on Friday, Saturday and next Monday at 10:30 am. Meet your guide on the Garden level (basement) at the Visitor Desk and take a very informative tour around our great Capitol building! The tours take about 75-90 minutes.

Looks like most of the smoke around the Capitol building is gone. Don't forget to come to one of our walk-in guided tours this week. Friday & Saturday at 10:30 am. Meet your guide on the Garden level (basement) and learn all about the Idaho State Capitol and the history of Idaho.

The sky is pretty this morning behind the Idaho State Capitol, but the smoke is back in full force. We have our weekly guided walk-in tours today, Friday and tomorrow, Saturday at 10:30 both days. If you would like to join our Capitol Tour guides meet them on the garden level (basement) at 10:30 am at the Visitor's Desk next to the Gift shop. The tour averages 75-90 minutes.

The smoke looks like it is starting to clear the skies around the Capitol building. We have our guided walk-in tours on Friday the 31st and Saturday the 1st this week - they both start at 10:30 am and if you would like to join, meet the tour guide on the Garden level (basement) at the Visitor Desk next to the gift shop. The tour lasts 75-90 minutes!

Smoky skies always look pretty, but I don't know if the pretty sunrise and sunsets are worth the smoke in the sky.

We got a new stuffed animal in the Capitol Gift Shop today. Little prairie dogs. They are found all over Idaho running in the hills and sagebrush. Come pick up yours today!

The sky is blue and it is a beautiful day at the Capitol. Don't forget every Friday at 10:30 am we have our guided walk-in tours. If you want to come, meet on the Garden level (basement) at the Information Desk by 10:30 am, and there will be a guide to take you through the building. Tours last about 75-90 minutes.
