Congrats to Scott Adams on his big win Saturday night in Perry, NY!

Scott Adams Earns Biggest Career Victory at Wyoming County International Raceway

Berwick, PA (10/15/2017)- Just two weeks ago, Scott Adams of Lake Ariel, PA planned on taking his #68 WARRANT Chevy Monte Carlo SS Street Stock to put on display prior to the popular band’s show at Penn’s Peak in Jim Thorpe, PA. However, Adams changed his mind and decided to compete in the New York Super Stocks Series event at Wyoming County International Speedway in Perry, NY as part of the “Shootout at the Bull Ring” on Saturday night. His decision ended up being a wise choice, as the veteran driver started nearly dead last and then steered his way to the front for the checkers and the $1,000 prize.

With 39 cars on hand for the show, it was determined that 26 would qualify for the 51-lap Sandra Vogler Memorial. Volger lost her courageous battle with breast cancer in September of 2005.

Most people would assume that Adams had a stellar 2017 season that helped with his decision on being competitive for the big show. Those who assumed were wrong, as the driver had one of his most disappointing seasons to date, mainly due to mechanical failures and an ill handling car. Although he had one feature win earlier in the season at Evergreen Raceway, his luck really took a turn for the better on Saturday night.

He worked on his ride all week long prior to the show and finally figured out that the rear end of his race car was bent. After changing three rears Friday night he headed to the track. The car was good in practice, yet luck didn’t go his way in the heat race and he suffered a flat tire on the first lap. He finished second in the consolation show, which put him as the 22nd place starter in the main event.

The driver remained calm, patient and kept his nose clean throughout the show. He climbed to fourth and then the leaders tangled. He restarted in the second spot and then worked around the outside of the leader on the final lap to secure what he admits is his biggest career victory.

“I’ve won quite a few races over the years, but this is my biggest for many reasons”, noted the 2013 Evergreen Raceway Four Cylinder champion.

“The car felt great, but I was worried with 39 cars on hand. “Earlier in the day I thought about throwing in the towel, but I had to be at the track anyway.”

“To go up against this many talented drivers and then come out on top feels great. “I can’t thank everyone enough for such a great race.”

Tyler Jett's 10th Anniversary is Quickly Approaching

Since its inception in the spring of 2008, Tyler Jett Motorsports has become a household name in the world of motorsports and beyond. After taking a couple of years to get off of the ground, followed by a solid five years of nonstop commitment to business, Tyler Jett’s owner decided to decline any additional work and let business decline. The reason for not accepting new clients was simple, to focus on getting the new promotional team at Evergreen Raceway up to speed and pointed toward success. Two years later, Gene Ostrowski has decided that now is the time to dedicate more focus and effort toward his business and bring Tyler Jett Motorsports Marketing, LLC back into full swing.

Tyler Jett specializes in pre-race and post-race press release writing, motorsports resumes, simple websites, social media marketing setup and overall PR work. Aside from a wide variety of both high and low profile race teams, they have worked with several businesses to establish continued success, many of which continue to call for marketing advice.

The Berwick, PA business has worked with many racers in the past and many of them continue to use Tyler Jett services, including Jim Sauter, Jr, Steve Fox, Mike Sweeney, Scott Adams, Mark Tyson, Paul Frantz and Del Morgan.

Several clients from the past are Kory Rabenold, Earl Paules, Todd Baer, Jacob Balliet, Nick Pecko, Tommy Wanick III, Jimmy Zacharias, Rick Smith, Jeff McGrath and Brandon Oltra.

Congrats to Himmer Graphics Racing on a great 2016 season!

Scott Adams ‘Stronger Now’, Following 2016 Finale

Berwick, PA (10/27/2016)- Scott Adams of Lake Ariel, PA had has a very busy racing schedule throughout this season. The first event on his schedule kicked off in January and his season wrapped up just two weeks ago at Evergreen Raceway in St; Johns, PA. Racing multiple divisions up and down the eastern United States, Adams visited a variety of tracks and went to victory lane on several occasions in his #68 WARRANT/FireHouse Music Monte Carlo.

“It’s been a great year”, noted the veteran driver in his eleventh year of competition.

“As soon a spring rolled around we went to Evergreen Raceway and won. From there we traveled around a bit, including Mahoning Valley Speedway (Lehighton, PA), Chemung Speedrome (Chemung, NY) and Oswego Speedway (Oswego, NY).”

Following his first win of the season, Adams and his team struggled, but with his dedicated team, they never gave up and grew stronger to overcome their obstacles.

“It all began to turn around by mid season”, he noted.

“We took an open competition show win and then finished ninth at Chemung. We went to the Race of Champions in Oswego and finished eighth and then grabbed another win at Evergreen.”

Speaking of Evergreen, Adams had always seemed to have bad luck at the track’s season ending, big money show called “King of the Green”. This season was no different, as Adams felt like he brought a knife to a gunfight because he was battling brake issues all day long.

“We had to race against 27 other guys that night and had no brake at all. It was a really long day and the main event has held at night. I thought the brake problem was fixed, but as I entered turn one on the first lap the pedal went to the floor. I just held on and worked the throttle.”

When the checkers flew, Adams came across the strip in the fourth spot behind race winner CJ Lehman of Long Island, NY.

“I couldn’t believe the finish that we had in a show that always bit us. I thought that I was doomed from the start but the car was really responsive. Overall, it was a great year and we learned a lot, plus finished third in points at Evergreen, even though we missed a show.”

We’re had a lot going on over the winter and with the start of the 2016 racing season, so we do apologize for not posting much info. Here’s a few things to get you up to speed this season.

We’re happy to have several teams back with us, including Mike Sweeney, Mary Tyson, Del Morgan, Jimmy Zacharias, Jim Sauter, Jr., Steve Fox, Jacob Balliet, Scott Adams and a few others. The most recent announcement was that Adams will be carrying the #68 WARRANT/FireHouse scheme for the season. Mark Tyson, who has been battling illness and doing well in doing so, hasn’t been released by his doctor to compete quite yet. Of course we hope for a quick recovery and when he returns, whether it be in short track racing or possibly drag racing, he’ll be carrying the FireHouse and WARRANT colors as he’s done for the last few seasons.

Evergreen Raceway in St. Johns, PA has reopened under new management. With that said, so far the season has kept us busy and with our current marketing partners and teams that we work with, we won’t be able to take on any new race teams this season. It just wouldn’t be fair, as they wouldn’t receive the attention that they deserve. However, if anyone out there is in need of that sort of help with websites, some PR work, etc, we do have several friends who are very good at it, to recommend to you.
