A global celebration of Black children and the people who ensure Black children are represented in books and other children’s media.

Bring out the family to enjoy live read alouds, book giveaways, author meet & greets, a book character parade, and much more! We encourage children to dress up and/or decorate their bikes, wagons, or carts with a book or character of their choice.
