HAPPY NATIONAL MINT JULEP DAY!!!!!

The first recorded recipe for the mint julep was published in 1803, and the refreshing cocktail quickly became a favorite at horse races. It was first served at the Kentucky Derby in the 1870s. But it wasn’t until 1938 that it became the official drink of the Kentucky Derby. ~ Woodford Reserve
