When is the serpent’s head bruised? — The fulfillment of Genesis 3:15

“I will make you enemies of each other: you and the woman, your offspring and her offspring. It will crush your head and you will strike its heel.” — Book of Genesis 3:15

The “heel” of the promised “seed” of God’s woman was bruised when Jesus Christ suffered and died on the stake. That painful wound, however, was temporary, because Jehovah resurrected him. Afterward, Jesus was exalted as King in heaven.

The bruising of the serpent’s head takes place in stages. After the birth of God’s Kingdom in 1914, Satan and his demons were cast out of heaven, as described in Revelation 12:7-9. This marked a major defeat for the “original serpent,” limiting his activity to the earth.

Later, at Armageddon, Christ Jesus leads the heavenly forces against the nations, fulfilling Revelation 19:11-21. This destroys earthly opposition to God’s Kingdom. However, Satan is not yet fully destroyed.

Finally, after the thousand-year reign of Christ, Satan is released for a short time to test mankind one last time. When he leads a final rebellion, Jehovah destroys him completely. “Fire came down out of heaven and devoured them,” and Satan is thrown into the symbolic lake of fire, meaning everlasting destruction — Book of Revelation 20:9, 10.

This final act fully crushes the serpent’s head, fulfilling God’s promise and ending all opposition to Jehovah forever.

💡 Why Jehovah allowed this process and gave hope

Jehovah did not destroy Satan immediately because He chose to settle the issue of sovereignty in a way that leaves no doubt forever. By allowing time, Jehovah gives mankind the opportunity to see the difference between Satan’s rule and His righteous Kingdom. This also provides hope, because it proves that those who remain faithful can be fully trusted to live forever in peace under God’s rule.

Jehovah always finishes what he starts. Even though evil was allowed for a time, it will end completely and permanently. His Kingdom will bring full justice, peace, and restoration to obedient mankind.

More Than My Wife — My Answered Prayer

On the morning of our wedding day, I woke before the sun rose—not because of the excitement around me, not because of the preparations, but because my heart could no longer wait for the moment I would finally call you my wife.

As I sat quietly, my thoughts wandered through the journey that brought us here—how two strangers became one beautiful story, lovingly written by Jehovah. I thought about your first smile, the sound of your laughter that turned ordinary moments into treasured memories, and the kindness that slowly became the safest place my heart had ever known.

Today, as we stand before our family, our friends, and most importantly before Jehovah God, I do not promise a life without challenges. I cannot promise there will never be trials, tears, or unexpected storms. But I can promise you this—you will never face any of them alone.

I promise to stand beside you through every season of life. To hold your hand in moments of joy and in moments of pain. To choose you on the easy days, the difficult days, the uncertain days, and all the quiet, ordinary days in between.

You are more than the woman I fell in love with. You are my answered prayer, my peace after life’s battles, and the one I want beside me for the rest of my life.

Years from now, when our hair has turned gray and our steps have grown slower, I pray we will still look into each other’s eyes with the same love, admiration, and gratitude we feel today—a love that never stopped growing because Jehovah remained at the center of it.

So today, before Jehovah and before everyone witnessing this sacred moment, I give you my heart completely—not just for this wedding day, but for every day Jehovah blesses us with together.

And if I were given a thousand lives, I would still search for you in every one of them… and I would still choose you.

May Jehovah always remain the third cord in our marriage, guiding us, strengthening us, and helping us build a peaceful, faithful, and beautiful life together. And every morning I wake up beside you, I will thank Jehovah for giving me my dear one.
