💜🧡🩷💛

There are days when the weight of having so many rescues feels overwhelming. Parang ang hirap lahat.

Kaya ibinabato na lang natin ang ating dalahin sa panalangin. Because God sees everything. And He knows our heart.

While the journey is never easy, what matters most is keeping our faith. Kahit anong hirap, maging mabuti at tapat lang tayo palagi. And in His perfect time, everything will be okay.

For now, we just keep going, for our rescues, for our family, and for the hope of brighter days ahead 🙏🏻

Because every stray cat is someone's baby who simply got left behind. 🥺

These cats may not have a home.
They may not have a family.
They may not even have someone calling their name.
But they still deserve to be loved.

I can’t save every cat. But if I can feed one hungry belly, give one scared cat a little safety, or help one stray find a better life… then the effort is worth it.

It all started with HER 🧡

___
She taught us to say NO to rescue-dumping. What is it? It's when someone asks you to "take care" of their rescue animal and promises to support her upkeep but ends up abandoning that promise.

YES.

Please NO to stray-feeding near the highway. Mo tunton na sila sa lugar unya mas maduol na hinuon sa disgrasya.

A gentle reminder for everyone who feeds stray animals: Good intentions need safe actions.

Please read and share this post.

We understand the kindness behind feeding stray cats and dogs. Many of us do it because we don’t want to see them hungry. But we also need to think about what happens after we leave.

Feeding animals beside roads, parking lots, busy establishments, or other open public areas may unintentionally put them in greater danger.

Animals don’t understand traffic, human cruelty, or the risks around them. Once they know that food is available in a certain place, they will return and stay there.

Unlike us, they cannot protect themselves from speeding vehicles, careless people, or those who may harm them.

Sadly, many of our rescues are victims of vehicular accidents. Some were found injured, paralyzed, or fighting for their lives because they stayed in areas where they were exposed to danger.

Public feeding areas can also become places where irresponsible owners dump unwanted animals, thinking someone will take care of them.

Our goal is to help, but we also need to make sure that our kindness does not unknowingly place animals at higher risk.

If possible, please consider feeding in safer locations:
• Away from roads and moving vehicles
•In quiet areas where animals can hide and rest
•Away from places with heavy foot traffic
•In areas where they are less exposed to cruelty and abandonment

Feeding is an act of compassion. But creating a safe environment is an even greater act of love❤️

Let’s help stray animals not only survive today, but also stay safe tomorrow.

‼️ PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT ‼️

If you buy cat or dog food by the kilo and the kibbles are stored in open sacks, please inspect them carefully before feeding your pets.
We experienced this a few weeks ago. We forgot to pick up our weekly supply from our trusted cat food supplier, so we ended up buying loose kibbles from a nearby shop instead.

We don't feed our rescues dry kibbles alone. We usually soak their food in water before mealtime, and that's when I noticed something alarming: there were mouse droppings mixed in with the kibbles. 😩

Imagine the horror! We had to throw the entire batch away, which meant wasted food- wasted money and the inconvenience of buying another bag just so our rescues could eat.

The next day, I went back to double-check, and we were able to confirm that the contamination came from the source.

I'm sharing this not to shame any store, but simply as a reminder to be extra cautious. Please inspect any loose pet food before feeding it to your cats or dogs. Mahirap na. Yah know. 🐾
