College, Pinnacle Partner on Job Skills
Paradise Business and Technology College has partnered with The Pinnacle of PNG Limited to help bridge the gap between education and employment.
The partnership was strengthened following a meeting between the college’s principal and founder, John Kaupa, and the Pinnacle team in Port Moresby.
The Pinnacle of PNG Limited managing director **Dr Queenie Ivy C. Templanza, CPA PNG, MBA, DM**, said the partnership would help students move from classroom learning to practical workplace experience.
“We are committed to bridging the gap between education and employment by giving students opportunities to develop practical, job-ready skills. Our goal is to work together with institutions like Paradise Business and Technology College to build the nation-builders of tomorrow.”
Dr Templanza said The Pinnacle’s three-month on-the-job training (OJT) program was designed to give students practical experience and better prepare them for employment.
“ Education provides the foundation, but practical experience gives young people the confidence and skills they need to succeed in the workplace. We want to help turn qualifications into real opportunities.”
The company said the partnership would support the development of skilled young Papua New Guineans who could contribute to the country’s workforce and economic development.
The Pinnacle encouraged students and education institutions to engage with the company to explore opportunities for practical training and employment preparation.
