The excitement of choosing your changa, the chaos of rolling lattai ko dhaago, the shouting, the happy faces, the changa pasal ko hallakhalla.

Bidesh bata ghar farkine haru, barsau pachi bhettine aafanta, ghar aaipugne bittikai suru hune guff ra haso. Dashain is all about being around your people, making time for each other, and making memories over a good Rara Blues.

Yo Dashain, aafno manche haru sanga ramailo garnuhos. Dashain ko hardik mangalmaya subhakamana! 🪁

A little conversation, a few smiles, and stories of Dashain.

We spent some lovely time with an uncle, talking about how he celebrates Dashain, the memories he’s made with his family, and the happiness of having everyone together. Between the stories and laughter, it felt like we were celebrating a little bit of Dashain together, too.

Before saying our goodbyes, we left him with a little maya ko koseli from Rara Blues.

Sometimes, the nicest moments come from simply sitting down, sharing stories, and getting to know someone.

The shops are busier, the streets are fuller, and there’s a little more happening around every corner this time of the year.

From picking up things for home to finding little gifts for the people we love, Dashain brings a certain kind of happiness to the city. There’s the rush, the crowds, the last-minute shopping, and all the little moments in between that make this time of the year feel so special.

Here’s to the beautiful chaos of Dashain and the people who make it even better.

Hope you have the loveliest Dashain with your family and friends, filled with love, laughter, and moments that bring you a little closer.
