First, thank all y’all who’ve expressed interest in our crate, sent us messages and suggestions, liked and shared our posts, and shed a tear or two of Texas pride with us! 🇨🇱

Y'all have kicked hind quarters! THANK YOU! ❣

As y’all know, our mission is to bring you the very best bits of Texas and support some of the wonderful small or family-owned Texan businesses, artisans, and companies along the way. Each one of our boxes will showcase products from a region, city, or small town in Texas to give you a glimpse of the amazing character and historic tapestry that is Texas.

So here are the changes we are making to our crate:

👉 The Lone Star Crate will now be a BI-MONTHLY box, or a box sent every other month (Jan/Mar/May/July/Sept/Nov).

👉 We’re moving our first ship date out to JULY 2020 due to the profound supply-chain challenges that our partners are currently experiencing because of the coronavirus pandemic. We’re all bummed about this but we care deeply about our amazing partners and sending you folks quality products.

👉 We’ll be making updates to our website in the next few weeks and targeting May 31st to officially launch the site. At that point we will begin taking orders!!

The rig is 76-foot long, and weighs 80,000 lbs. Folsom said the barbecue grill/pit trailer is the largest mobile smoker in the world. The custom-made trailer was built in 2000, has 24 smoking compartments and a firebox in the shape of the state of Texas at the rear.

The Lone Star flag turns 180 today! On January 25, 1839, the Texas flag was adopted as the final national flag of the Republic of Texas.
