What is the difference between biscotti and cantuccini?

The main difference between Cantuccini and Biscotti is their origin; Cantuccini is from Tuscany, and Biscotti is from the region of Emilia-Romagna.

Cantucciini is typically made with almonds, while Biscotti are made with all-purpose flour and a variety of nuts and chocolate or nothing.

The wine open for tasting this weekend is a Côtes Du Rhône Blanc 2020 “Les Deux Albion” from Domaine De Saint Cosme, in the Rhone, France.

"This cracking little blend, including Viognier and Marsanne, has pretty aromas of stone fruits and white flowers, leading to an unctuous peachy palate balanced out by a nice lick of minerality provided by the limestone terroir from where the vines are cultivated." - Jason
