Hi everyone,

We just want to say a huge thank you for all the heart warming messages, comments etc we received following our announcement to bring the Run For Boylo to a close. We enjoyed reading them all and will always have fond memories ourselves of the Run for Boylo events and what we were able to do to do the help our local community. ❤️

We are thrilled to see, that another Run is being organised in Foxford the Fox-trot 5km/10km Run. We hope that you will all support, as it is wonderful to have these type of events and 'days out' in our local community for us all to come together whilst raising money for our community.

Hi Everyone, hope you are all keeping well. 😊

We have an announcement to make...🥁🥁

After an incredible 12 years of the Run for Boylo event, we the Boyle family have decided to bring our event to an end. This was not a decision taken lightly but as a family with various work and life commitments we feel we have reached the end of our Run For Boylo journey.

I think we can all agree that the Run for Boylo has been an incredible community event and success, and one that exceeded all our expectations. We never anticipated that this
run would take off the way in the way it did since it started up in 2011.

People will be aware of the tragic circumstances that resulted in our uncle Gerry Devaney coming up with the wonderful idea to keep Martin's memory alive. I think it's fair to say Martin would be so proud of his town and community and those from further afield that participated, contributed and helped in any way in making this event such a success..

The event would not have been possible without the support of you all. The participants, volunteers, businesses that sponsored our event year after year.

We will be forever grateful to you all for supporting us all these years and hope that ye keep on running and supporting our community and indeed worthy causes in our locality.

While we are closing the doors on the Run for Boylo we are thrilled to announce that our super committee have decided to keep the event going but this will be under a new name and management.. The event will take place on the 28th of April in Foxford and will continue as a 10km, 5km and kids run, so keep your eyes peeled on all social media platforms for further details and we hope that you will continue to support this event and keep our community active and running and bringing the community together.

We would like to take a moment to wish you all a very Happy Christmas and a peaceful New Year. ☃️🎄🎁

Also, a huge thank you to you all, the local community, local businesses and supporters for all the help this year, this Run would simply not happen without the communities support. A special word of thanks to the Commitee, you were an incredible suppport to us this year.

A sincere thank you to Micheal Donnelly and the Western People for the write up about the Run for Boylo presentation night. Also, a huge thank you to you all for helping, donating and participating in our event every year. Without this support, the Run for Boylo wouldn't be the success that it is.
