RELEGATION PLAYOFF - RD 1 - THIS SUNDAY

Never much between Senans and CASTLE in recent games, a draw earlier in the League, a narrow defeat for CASTLE last year........but this Sunday the stakes have got very high.

The Winners (in a 'to be decided on the day game') will lock in Div. 3 Status for 2026, the Losers will be out again Sunday week in a further attempt to secure a place in Div 3........CASTLE SENIORS will need all our support in at Strand Road for 2pm!!

No big winner last week so it's up to €4,700 for the draw on Tuesday 15th.

PLAY-OFF JOURNEY BEGINS THIS WEEK - A WIN AND WE STAY IN DIV. 3

Lots of wonderings this week as to how the 5 team play-off would work and after yesterday's meeting of the County Board the details are out.

ROUND 1
CASTLEGREGORY v St. Senans
Sun. July 13th - 2pm - Strand Rd. ,Tralee
(Winner of this game stays in Div. 3)

ROUND 2
Cordal v Tarbert
Sat. July 19th - 6.30pm - Duagh

Ballydonoghue v Loser of CASTLE / Senans
Sat. July 19th - 6.30pm - Venue to be confirmed
(Winner of Both these games will stay in Div. 3)

ROUND 3
Losers of the Round 2 games play - Loser relegated
Fri. or Sat. July 25th / 26th....to be confirmed

So, there you go, CASTLE would have to lose 3 games to be relegated and on the flip side, win 1 and they stay up!
Strand Road on Sunday is where we all need to be!!!

A great evening yesterday for our under 10 girls who played at half-time of Kerry's All-Ireland Quarter Final vs Kildare yesterday evening in Austin Stack Park.

The girls got to cheer on the Kerry Ladies as they entered the pitch and were eagerly watching the game from the stand as Kerry qualified for the All-Ireland Semi Final.

No doubt a fantastic memory for the girls, thanks to all the coaches and parents 💚💛

It is with great sadness that Castlegregory CLG has learned of the passing of Deirdre O'Connell, mother of our club P.R.O. Pádraic.

Our sincere condolences to Pádraic and all the O'Connell family at this sad time.

A great day of football for our u10s who played in the North Kerry Blitz in John Mitchels Tralee at the weekend.

Lot's of fun and football for these girls, thanks to all the parents and coaches for bringing them along 💚💛

Our U13 girls had their first run-out as a team in a challenge match against Corca Dhuibhne yesterday evening.

There was some lovely football on display—great intensity, movement, running, and work rate throughout. It was a fantastic opportunity as the team continues preparations for the upcoming U13 Championship.

A big thanks to Corca Dhuibhne and to referee Seamus for officiating.
A great evening of football and a brilliant buzz around the squad!
