Who are Wine Junkies?
Wine Junkies is a subscription to a mysterious enogastronomic box. We are crazy in love with crazy wines, and we're happy to deliver them to you once a month! If you love wine and surprises, we'll definitely become friends!
Behind the project are Daria and Varvara, friends of Georgia, its wine, and each others' friends, too. We love wine big time! Once we were driving to a winery somewhere, talking about what we recently drank, the new cheese maker in a faraway region and the way this cheese would go with a unique wine we discovered the other day. After two hours of this conversation, Varvara's partner sighed and said that only real wine ju**ies could discuss one and the same topic for such a long time. We got even more excited and decided to establish delivery of surprise boxes, with the content based on our taste and expertise. Daria is the founder of travel company Trails and Wines that takes care of wine adventures in Georgia. She is also a co-author of Vinologue guidebook to the Georgian wine regions, WSET 2 holder, and a real ju**ie when it comes to Amber wines and qvevri. Varvara has decades of experience in business sphere. Her main field of work is MICE, and she also has an eye for fine antique things, a tooth for gourmet dishes, and a heart for Georgia.
